The Nutcracker Ballet has been a tradition in my family ever since I was a little girl. My Mom has taken me and my Sister, just about every year since I can remember, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Now she takes me and my Daughters. It is a fun tradition, and now my girls are just (literally) counting down the days until they get to go!! :)
Everyone has been wondering exactly what I have been doing with Ballet West, so here is a small part of what I have been photographing for the past couple of months. This is VERY traditional lighting for me, but I thought they turned out really beautiful this year. This is only a few of the many costumes that I have photographed. It is a great job, I love being a part of this great event! And all through December, I get to photograph these kids performing!! Fox 13 News @ 9 will be airing part 3 of a 3 part series on the evening of Thanksgiving, so watch it and get a peak into what these kids have accomplished!!! I am getting close to the end of editing costume portraits, I can barely sit at this computer any more!! But, I will get there!
